My Modelling Clay

Last June holiday, my mother brought me to a modelling clay class at a CC.

I went there for two lessons. The first model I made was a turtle,

and the second model was a tree trunk.

There were some machines that professionals use to make vases.

After your model is done, wait for it to dry for at least two or three days.

Once it is dry, you have to bake it in a special oven called a kiln.

And then paint it with acrylic paint and it's done.

I wish I could go for the modelling clay class again.

How to choose sweet durians

I love to eat sweet durians. If you love to eat durians, you should read on.

Here's how to choose sweet durians:
1. You have to smell the durian
2. Make sure the thorns are short and broad.

After we bought the durians, we went home. We couldn't wait to eat the durians. When the durian was opened, we all rushed to eat the fruit. After we ate the durians, we used a durian seed to wash our hands. This is to clear away the smell from our hands.

Malacca mission trip

On the 19-22 of June my family and I went to Malacca with a few families to visit the orang asli.

We rented two apartments. In each apartment, there are two bedrooms and a master bedroom.



On the first day, we practiced singing three malay songs to sing to the orang asli.

I wish I can go there again. It has been fun and educational.

Science experiments

First take a plate, pour in milk, then take three cotton buds. After that, soak the cotton buds in soap. Put in three drops of different food colouring into the milk. Then dip the cotton buds into the milk. See what happens.

Austin Hills Golf Resort

My family, Cell Group and I went to Austin Hills Golf Resort in Malaysia on December 29 till 31 08.

(Hey, you mean they lifted me up with just one of their fingers???)

At the Resort, there are a Bowling alley, table tennis, tennis, swimming pool and a golf course. There were two king-sizebeds in each room and a bathtub. We swam three days in a row and went down to the bowling alley. The best part of the holiday was spent at the swimming pool.

When aunty Cecilia told us to come out of the pool, we sprayed water at her. It was fun using our newly bought water syringe. I wish we could go there again!
